Roadway Section ID

A unique identifier assigned to specific elements or features. Requirement: All Roadway Sections must have the property Roadway Section ID in the set Roadway Section Information.

The total quantity of distinct HMA courses within the pavement structure. Requirement: All Roadway Sections must have the property No. of Asphalt Pavement Layers in the set Roadway Section Information.

No. of Portland Cement Concrete Pavement Layers

The total quantity of distinct PCC courses within the pavement structure. Requirement: All Roadway Sections must have the property No. of Portland Cement Concrete Pavement Layers in the set Roadway Section Information.

No. of Aggregate and Base Layers

The total quantity of distinct loose stone courses within the pavement structure. Requirement: All Roadway Sections must have the property No. of Aggregate and Base Layers in the set Roadway Section Information.

Asphalt Cement / Performance Grade

Water/Cement Ratio

The ratio of the weight of water to the weight of cement used in a concrete mix. Requirement: All Top Layers may have the property Water/Cement Ratio in the set Roadway Section Layer Properties.

Friction Resistance

The force developed at the interface between a pavement surface and a traveling vehicle’s tire. Requirement: All Top Layers may have the property Friction Resistance in the set Roadway Section Layer Properties.

Minimum Thickness

The smallest allowable measurement for a layer in a pavement structure. Requirement: All Top Layers must have the property Minimum Thickness in the set Roadway Section Layer Properties.

Uniform Depth

Leveling Layer

Asphalt Cement / Performance Grade

Water/Cement Ratio

Leveling Layer
